Manoeuvering between a fulltime job and going to college can be very hectic and if not managed properly it is very easy to drop the ball and get completely overwhelmed.
The fact that you are doing both at the same time means you cannot sacrifice one for the other. They are equally important to help secure your future. For that reason, they must be taken seriously and neither should suffer for the sake of the other. If that happens you may be forced to give up one.
Hence the reason why it is important to get organized to avoid any mishaps.
Here are some tips that can help you get ahead of your game juggling a career and your studies.
Find motivation
For anything to work properly, it is important to be fully geared and charged for the task that you are about to begin. Find a good support system that can encourage you during the hard times and that will remind you of the positive side of things especially if you are looking at the end in mind.

Stay positive
A negative mindset will definitely hinder you from succeeding. When you remember that both school and work are very important for your personal wellbeing, the better the chances of you being encouraged to forge forward. Keep a circle that is also full of positive energy to uplift you when need be.
Create a proper schedule and stick to it
Having a schedule that has been well set out will make things easier as you get work tasks accomplished as well as assignments that are needed in school. Also avoid mixing the two and accord each the seriousness they deserve. Adhere to the timelines given and try as much as possible to be a keen observer of time in order to meet deliverables in good time.
Keep time
Punctuality is very important and time is a valuable asset in this case. Every single minute counts and one cannot afford to be careless with how it is being spent. Deadlines must be met on time and that is why it is important have a properly planned schedule.
Schedule time to relax
Taking breathers in between tasks is very important as it will keep you constantly rejuvenated. The breaks do not have to be long. Short breaks work just as good.
If you have to take a power nap do so as the mind is bound to get tired. Do this before class time so you can be fresh for your lectures.

Be prepared to multi-task
If you are a person that is not used to working under pressure, this may be a very tall order. Multi-tasking will be very important because as I stated, there is a no-excuse policy that has to be adhered to.
Ask for assistance
When you are stuck, do not be afraid to ask for help where it is needed. If you can get some sort of task relief at work, this could lighten your load and in turn create room for other things to be done.
It will be less stressful and you don’t have to feel alone in this. No man is an island and it is very much okay to ask for help. Teamwork is key and can only make things easier if you are willing to work with other people.
