Did you know that it is rich in protein and a single serving will help you get your daily recommended intake of niacin (Vitamin B3)? This nutrient benefits nerve and digestion function and helps produce energy. It also has Vitamin B-6, potassium, magnesium, zinc and phosphorous, which helps the body build bones and healthy cells.

Peanut butter is high in fat content, but research suggests eating it may help you in losing some kilos. Eating peanut butter gets you nourished without sending your blood sugar over the roof. It also helps to control your appetite as it keeps you fuller for longer.

Simple recipe: Peanut butter, banana, milk and oatmeal. Blend until smooth. Serve chilled.
