A little bit of everything: grilled chicken, plantain and a yoghurt snack!

FILLING YOGHURT SNACK

What you need:

• 1/2 cup of your favourite yoghurt • 3-4 passion fruits cut in half • 1 banana sliced in half • 1 strawberry cut in half

Method

1. In a serving bowl, add yogurt. 2. Scoop out the passion fruit and add it too followed by a sliced banana and some strawberry. 3. Sprinkle some oats on top and enjoy.

ROSEMARY & THYME GRILLED CHICKEN

What you need:

• 2-3 cups of water • 2 tbsp. of rosemary • 1 tbsp. of thyme • 4-6 cloves of garlic • 1/2 cups of brown sugar • 1 tbsp. of salt • 8 pieces of chicken • 1 tbsp. of crushed ginger

Method

1. In a bowl, pour water, add some salt and brown sugar. 2. Mix everything well until the brown sugar and salt dissolves then add some spices. 3. Stir them in then add the chicken pieces. 4. Let them marinate overnight or for a few hours. 5. The next day, take out the chicken and let it get to room temperature. 6. Pre heat your oven and once hot, place the chicken on the grilling rack. 7. Grill the chicken in a 200 degree oven for 35 minutes and remember to flip it over every 15 minutes. 8. Once ready, toss the chicken in your favourite barbeque sauce and serve.

PLANTAIN SPLIT

What you need:

• 3 plantains • 4-6 strawberries • 3 scoops of your favorite ice-cream • Cinnamon (optional)

Method

1. Peel your plantain, cut up as you wish then proceed to fry them. 2. Fry them for about 4-6 minutes turning them from regularly so that they slightly brown on each side. 3. Once ready, take them out and let the excess oil drain. 4. Once the oil has drained, place them on a serving dish and add three scoops of ice cream on top. 5. Cut the strawberries in halves and place them on the ice-cream. 6. Sprinkle some cinnamon and enjoy.
