While there is no known cause for fibroids, the over production of oestrogen is thought to play a role. Balancing your hormones through diet can help with the management of fibroids.

Foods to avoid:

Processed meats are known to be particularly high in oestrogen. Dairy products contain high levels of steroids and hormones unless from a trusted organic source. Soy contains phytoestrogens which act like oestrogen in the body.
