Halogen Oven
Halogen oven; a table-top oven that not only saves on space and energy but does everything at once in one pot that normally takes an entire conventional oven to manage including sautèing, steaming, boiling, roasting, grilling, baking, and does it three times faster and is eight times cheaper.
The compact oven comprises a clear glass bowl with a lid on top that contains halogen bulbs and a high-powered fan. The clear bowl allows you to watch your food cooking, and adjusts cooking times according to how the food looks.
The oven comes with shelves so you can roast a larger chicken on the bottom while your vegetables or potatoes could go on the layer above. The fast cooking speed of halogen ovens helps to minimise loss of nutrients when preparing meals. It costs Sh10,000.
One Second Slicer
As the name suggests this gadget does it all in just one second; slice, dice, cube, chop and mince, hence no need for those bulky dicers and choppers that clutter your counter top.
You not only get to slice all kinds of vegetables and fruits, the slicer does it uniformly so that your food cooks evenly. You can chop and slice in a dozen different ways depending on the type of blade you are using.
Additionally, you can store your chopped vegetables in the airtight container hence preserving their freshness. The BPA-free storage containers are designed such that they are dishwasher and freezer safe and are easily stack-able.
Each container, shaped like a loaf of bread, can hold a six-cup capacity. The stainless steel blades stay sharp. The slicer costs Sh1,900.
