Following the Lent period of sacrifice and reflection, Easter is a time for new awakenings. With increasing panic because of the coronavirus pandemic, now is the time to steer your thoughts towards positivity and rebirth.
1. Count your blessings
Especially in these troubled times, it is important to take stock of the things that really matter. This may be your family or friends, a job, a roof over your head, food on your table or your continued health.
2. Give wholeheartedly
Many Kenyans are currently experiencing unimaginable upheaval. Support families in need by donating to a food drive, volunteering in community outreach or even raising awareness among your peers.
3. Be a change champion
Use the time off that you have now to campaign for change. Petition community leaders and local lawmaker to advocate for improvements in the livelihoods of your neighbouring communities such as improved sanitation and healthcare.
