Nathen Steffel ask Reddit users if anyone could remove hospital tubes from a treasured picture of baby daughter Sophia, who died at just six weeks old
Nathen Steffel is grieving the loss of his daughter Sophia who died aged just six weeks old.
He took pictures of the tiny child, but in all of them she was hooked up to medical equipment a tube in her mouth and a drip in the back of her hand.
Nathen really wanted a picture of her without all the tubes so turned to Reddit for help and the moving response of people using Photoshop was incredible.
He wrote: "My daughter recently passed away after a long battle in the children's hospital. Since she was in hospital her whole life we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?"
Many people had a go at editing the image to show Sophia without the tubes and one person even offered to create a 3D model of her, free of charge.
Nathen responded: "This is really amazing. Everyone you have made my day. All I wanted was a nice picture.
"What I received was a lot of love and support from a bunch of strangers."
