The first thing I noticed about Kofi Siriboe was his smile and of course, his beard. Siriboe is a Ghanaian-American actor and model. He has featured in a number of films and television series such as Girls Trip and Queen Sugar respectively. His role in Queen Sugar gained him recognition and he was nominated for the Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series by the NAACP Image Awards.
Aside from his work, Siriboe is also an advocate for all things women of colour. He has been very vocal about supporting Black women particularly those in entertainment. “It's now my responsibility to celebrate and praise that same black skin. And, yes, it;s a very conscious and deliberate effort,” he wrote on his Instagram.
Just as Kofi Siriboe celebrates Black women, let’s also celebrate him today and make him our Man Crush Monday.
