Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s kids then and now - see how they have grown up

If you are the children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, then one of the expectations in life will be more attention than a typical child would enjoy.

What has been refreshing is that the Hollywood superstars' children have not been saturating the spotlight meaning there is some change to their appearance every time they appear in the media.

Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne have spent up to 19 years being photographed as Brad and Ange fans clamour for a glimpse of their kids.

The six children are growing up fast, with Maddox being the first to make it to adulthood, as a 19-year-old college sophomore.

Here's how the Jolie-Pitt children have transformed over the years.

Maddox has turned 19 and is at Yonsei University in South Korea, though he is doing his studying at home with Angelina during the coronavirus pandemic.

He has a crowded programme with biochemistry, Korean, and Russian on the menu but his forced period at home in Los Angeles has meant that his bond with his siblings has stengthened.

While he is devoted to Angelina, Maddox has had a difficult relationship with Brad, which came to a head during an altercation on a flight from France.

Recent times has seen an improvement and Brad has enjoyed spending time with his son during his school break, missing the 2020 BAFTAs in the process.

Pax Jolie-Pitt will be the next to reach adulthood as the 17-year-old continues home-schooling, much like his siblings.

He is the most private of the children and usually only appears in public on the red carpet for his mother's movies, which are becoming fewer and far between.

Zahara has turned 15 and is making waves as Angelina has said that she is "in awe" of her daughter, who she adopted from Ethiopia when she was six months old.

Speaking to TIME with Ugandan climate activist Vanessa Nakate, Angelina said about Zahara: "I have learned so much from her. She is my family, but she is an extraordinary African woman."

Shiloh was Brad and Ange's first biological child and has a close bond with Zahara. She is now 14 and has all the confidence of a teenager and her own style, which has seen her shun the more feminine ranges of clothes.

She shares a similar friendship group to Zahara and they have been seen shopping together with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.

Vivienne is a spitting image of her mother as well as a twin to Knox, and has already been seen on the big screen playing the baby version of Aurora in Maleficent.

The 12-year-old loves animals and has already acquired a menagerie of small furry friends.

While twin sister Vivienne is Angelina's look-a-like, Knox has been blessed with his father's looks.

He is often seen on shopping trips in Los Angeles with Ange and had raised money for Hope for Paws by selling dog treats with his twin sister.
