The weekend is traditionally a time to let go and relax after the intense work week. But there’s a way through which you can make your weekdays run smoother. A concise plan will help you start Monday more organised and with no Monday Blues.
1. Plan your outfits for the week
Pick out outfits that you plan to wear the following week down to the shoes and accessories. Be sure to try them on to check the fit and if all the pieces you have put together actually complement each other.
2. Make a list of everything you need to do the following week
This will help you feel less stressed about the new week’s tasks. Where possible, start on these tasks. Go through your email noting down any appointments.

3. Journal
Take a few minutes, away from the screen of your phone or laptop, to write in your journal about your plans for the future, the progress of your projects, challenges you have faced, etc. Pouring these out will make your mind less congested.
Read your old journal entries to remind yourself of your journey and see how much you have accomplished so far.
4. Write down things you are excited about
Seeing your plans for the new week, like meeting a friend for coffee or following up on an idea you pitched, will give you something to look forward to. It will also serve to remind you of your life outside of work.
