Living

Confidence is an admirable, but sometimes it can take a dip for various reasons. Here are a few tips to help you boost your confidence.

Dress-up

Throw together outfits to try a new look that will make you stand out. Go for your favourites or even try a totally new look that will make you feel good about yourself.  You will be more confident, and consequently feel in control of your life.

Smile

With a smile, you look like you have a secret all to yourself. Being in a happy mood even when the day is long and hectic is contagious and spreading the good cheer will make you feel better.

Good deeds

To feel better about yourself, do at least one good deed every day. This could be simple things like telling someone you love them, call a friend or even pat an animal. It could be planned activities like volunteering at a centre for animals, planting a tree or even donating products to a children’s centre. These acts will make others feel good about themselves and make you feel grateful and more confident.

 

Challenge yourself

If you feel bored with the way things are going, take up new challenges. This would be a great time to try out that new recipe you wanted, go for that solo trip or even try the bungee jumping you have been putting off. It will give you such a boost of your confidence.

Relax

Your self-confidence could be taking a hit because of the stress and anxiety you are suffering.  To get it back in balance, relax. Sleep, watch your favourite film, read your book or even do nothing. 

Celebrate your achievements

Whether small or big, celebrating your achievements will make you feel great. It will increase your pride in what you have been able to do and improve your confidence.
