It makes sense that some detox beverages don’t work for others, so here are 10 detox drinks you can easily fix for yourself at home, depending on your taste and comfort.
- Watermelon Detox Water
Watermelon hydrates your body like crazy, is low in calories and is an antioxidant. Its properties may prevent osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease and hypertension.
Watermelon, 1 sliced Cucumber and 1/3 Mint (optional), Jug of water

Chop a cup full of watermelon and cucumber, and add to a large jug of water. You may add a couple of mint leaves for freshness and taste, which can sooth an upset stomach and act as a antioxidant .Store in the fridge overnight and draw from your fountain of your youth (the jug) whenever you’re thirsty!
- Flat Tummy Water (Cucumber, Ginger and Lemon Detox)
This particular detox is infused with ingredients that specifically target weight loss. Lemon contains pectin, a type of fiber which makes you feel full for a longer period of time. Cucumbers clean out your entire urinary system and your liver, meaning more water is retained and every toxin flushed out.
1 tbsp grated Ginger, 1/3 cups mint leaves, 1 sliced Lemon and 1 sliced cucumber
Infuse the fruits in the jug and let the mixture settle overnight in the fridge. Drink continuously during the day for seven days.

- Apple Cider Vinegar Morning Detox
This is a pretty useful drink that can cure even a nasty hangover if made properly. Drinking apple cider vinegar increases metabolism and speeds up weight loss. It helps balance your body’s pH and promotes cardiovascular stimulation.
2 tbsp ACV, 2 tbsp lemonjuice, 1 tbsp raw honey, Glass of hot water, 1 tbsp cayenne (optional)
Simply mix all the ingredients together in a glass of warm or hot water and take it as a morning beverage.
- Orange and Blueberry/Strawberry/Raspberry Detox Mix
This one goes without saying: it’s a natural juice without the processed sh* from factories. You even get to drink actual water, too!
