It’s no secret that once you become a mum, the hustle and bustle of everyday life makes it very easy to forget about taking care of yourself. That’s why when a show is targeted at giving mums a makeover, it is welcomed with arms wide open.
YouTuber Maureen Waititu yesterday announced that she will be hosting a new show “specifically targeting women”.
“I’ll be happily hosting remarkable mums, who’ve made unthinkable sacrifices in the name of motherhood.
“The icing on the cake is that I’ll be giving them a makeover as they share their mind-blowing experiences,” she wrote on her Instagram. “This will be a platform where they’ll share their unique stories touching on mental health, self-esteem, among other things.”
Maureen, a mum herself, expressed her wish to remind mothers that they too can be girls in spite of the difficulties they may have gone through.
The show, titled Minji Minji premiers on August 5 will be aired on Startimes’ Rembo Tv and will be aired every Tuesday.
