Festive bum wreaths are the latest way to give yourself a Christmas makeover

Living

Getting ready for Christmas requires a lot of preparation, from decorating the tree with tinsel and baubles to making delicious mince pies.

There are also loads of ways to make yourself look Christmassy, from donning a jumper to naughtier options like Boohoo's nipple wreaths.

If you've done all of that and you're STILL struggling to get into a festive mood, you might want to try turning your bum into a Christmas wreath too.

In a newly released tutorial, influencer Davison reveals how to do exactly that in a guide to creating what she calls the "Christmas" or the "cheeky wreath" - and it's actually way simpler than you think.

Just grab a pair of trousers or leggings and cut a hole in them, then decorate around the edges with festive items like bells, tinsel or baubles.

Once you've decorated your bum, you're free to go about your festive business - but it might not be ideal for going outside in this chilly weather nor is it necessarily the perfect outfit option for Christmas day with the family.

Davison shared a handy tutorial Instagram with her 24,000 followers, wishing them a "Merry Christmas and a happy new rear."

Some of her followers said they actually fancy giving it a try.

One said: "love this so much, may have to do it myself ha-ha".

"Brilliant use of your lovely Christmas-eats," another said.

It's not the first cheeky Christmas fashion trend we've spotted so far this year.

Online retailer Boohoo is selling green and red tinsel wreaths to cover them with. They even have gold bells on them for an added festive flair.

All you need to do is stick the bizarre accessories on and you're all set.

At just sh.500, they're a bit of a bargain if you do fancy decking out your boobs in a festive fashion for the holiday season.

But some shoppers weren't quite sure what to make of the quirky nipple stickers and were rather confused about why they exist.

On Twitter, one person wrote: "@boohoo is selling Christmas wreath nipple covers... stop the planet, I want to get off."
