Marie Stopes clinics are free to offer post-abortion services. The Health Ministry of Health yesterday lifted a ban forbidding them from offering such.
The Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (MPDB) banned the clinic's activity citing complaints from public.
It blocked the health service provider from publishing misleading information on its website. Yesterday, Health CS Sicily Kariuki said the ban was lifted after Marie Stopes adhered to orders issued by MPDB on November 10.
“Having reviewed observations and determination by MPDB, I direct that the ban on post-abortion care services at Marie Stopes be lifted,” she said.
