Woman gets her own back on 'cheating' boyfriend but some say she's taken it too far

She poured glitter all over his stuff

A woman who claims her boyfriend cheated on her revealed how she got her own back - but some people think she took it too far.

Destiny said she gave her long-distance boyfriend a "second chance" after he cheated on her the first time, but he's messed up again.

To make the task of returning her ex's belongings a little easier, she decided to get revenge.

On-screen writing on the video read: "This is what happens when you cheat twice on a girl who loves glitter."

In the clip, Destiny is seen sitting in her car with a box of items which she says belongs to her ex-boyfriend - including a sports jacket, a few t-shirts and a necklace.

She then begins to spray a few pieces with hairspray, and gently folds them up and puts them back, before she upends an entire envelope of glitter over it all.

In a second video, she explained that she used to send him love letters with bits of glitter in them.

This inspired her to repeat the prank on a larger scale, saying this was her idea of a "smack in the face".

Not everyone thought it was a good way to get her own back

Since being posted to TikTok it has received over 2.5 million likes and over 20,000 comments.

The majority of TikTok users found the prank the perfect way to get closure as one said: "inconvenient revenge is the best revenge".

Another said: "Ladies, use EXTRA FINE GLITTER because it truly NEVER GOES AWAY."

A third said: "He's not worth this type of attention."

And: "Well he shouldn't have cheated but you should have used more glitter, then glue, then more glitter" said a fourth.

But a few people thought she'd taken it too far.

"Ah yes destroy his stuff how cool of you if he keys your car it’s his fault" said one person.

A second user said: "This is toxic too but y’all not ready for that conversation."

And another commented: "Why do people have to one-up each other in a break-up? Be the better person and move on."
