A mother has been arrested after police allegedly caught her having sex with a 16-year-old boy who used to be in a relationship with her daughter.
The 38-year-old Fereshta Angel Williams is accused of carrying out the affair over the course of three-months.
Police received a tip about the alleged fling, and had been tracking the Deer Springs, California resident for weeks.
In California, the legal age of consent is 18.
Cops eventually made the arrest in the car park of a fitness gym.
She was charged with having sex with a minor, two counts of oral copulation of a minor and one count of trying to dissuade a witness.
A police spokesman said: "Any time that a 38-year-old has an inappropriate sexual relationship with a minor that is something that is obviously gong to get the attention of the police and it is going to land you in jail."
The mother has denied the charges and will appear in court next month.
