Fear is everything. Fear keeps us safe by being cautious but fear can also stop us living our lives to the fullest by preventing us from taking risks. However, if you do not take any chances in life, then you risk never living a truly fulfilled life.

1. Inaction leads nowhere:

If you take a chance you may or may not fail but if you don’t even try then nothing will ever happen anyway. While doing nothing may feel safe and comfortable, risk creates change, enhances learning and generates new opportunities.

2. Risk teaches you about yourself:

The downsides to risk usually prevents us from taking chances but taking chances teaches you about yourself, makes you understand inner strength and character and develops confidence and creates a powerful shift in thinking.

3. Risk brings reward:

Big risks usually create great rewards. Risk taking doesn’t mean success automatically falls into your lap, but when it does, it is usually a turning point in your fortunes, be it emotional, financial or psychological.
