Nairobi, Kenya: Government has dispatched KDF doctors to KNH to handle emergency cases at the hospital after 290 specialists joined the ongoing health workers strike.
Spokesman Lt Col Paul Njuguna says that is part of their duty and they have sent enough personnel. "That Is part of our mandate and we have stepped in to help the needy cases there. We have specialists to attend to them," he said.
He added military personnel are already in the hospital working.
