Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko can now comfortably pull the ‘I told you so card’ after his daughter parted ways with her boyfriend.
Saumu Sonko, who is the politician’s eldest child, is in her third trimester and has parted ways with her boyfriend Ben Gatu. Sonko had dismissed Gatu as a freeloader who was after his daughter for fame and to get closer to power. Saumu recently took to her Instagram to alert her followers that she was single.
“I’m tired of waking up every morning getting different stories about me on this cheap blogs. Just to clear the air, I was never married in the first place. I’m just a woman who realised my worth before it was too late. Yes we broke up.
I’m just too young to go through such bullshit of a man moving from one politician’s daughter to another for his selfish benefits. I wonder what all of you get by writing all this nonsense. Next time I see bs about me I will definitely take it to court. If there is anything that needs to be clarified call my number.”
There was a rumour that Saumu had dumped her man for a little-known businessman called Shaban.
However, they dismissed these rumours claiming that they were just friends and that Shaban was dating Saumu’s friend.
