Nanyuki, Kenya: Residents of Nanyuki town were Friday stunned after it emerged that some business premises near British Army Camp were operating as brothels.
And government officials closed eight premises disguised as massage parlours.
The officials, led by Laikipia East sub county administrator Alexander Mwangi, said they had received complaints from the public.
“We received complaints from the public that the premises were being used as sex dens and were not massage parlours,” Mwangi said.
Owners of the premises, however, denied that their businesses were brothels.
