Man catches expectant wife cheating on him in hospital

A man who wanted to surprise his pregnant wife in hospital ended up surprising himself when he caught her in the act with an energetic 24-year-old man.

The bizarre incident took place in Apac District, Uganda, where one Alex Okuta went to check on his sick wife who had been admitted for five days at Apac Hospital.

According to authorities in Uganda, the accused gained access to the female ward last week and administered his dose to the woman who was suffering from malaria.

A distraught Okuta confirmed that he caught them in the act, pants down.

"I made a surprise visit to the hospital to check on my wife then I found that man in bed with my pregnant wife," he said.

According to the Daily Monitor, police struggled to charge the suspect, who sells roasted meat, but eventually settled on slapping him with 'causing public nuisance'.

"We have preferred charges of causing public nuisance against the suspect, but we are still investigating and will update you at an appropriate time," said Apac District Police Commander David Ndaula.

The hospital's administrator Joseph Onuk was not as sympathetic to Okuta as he blamed him for neglecting his wife for over five days.

He further warned him that there are often people who are always available and rise to the occasion when called upon.

"I put the blame on the husband of this woman," he said, adding, "How can you send your wife to the hospital and you take long without checking on her? Some men always say that they are so busy. Somebody who is not busy will take away your wife."
