I am 32-year-old pharmacist. My wife has never lacked for anything. Her fridge is always stocked and our children have never been sent away from school. Over Christmas, I told her I had urgent business out of town and would catch up with her on December 30 for New Year. Would you believe she called me over 70 times and totally messed up my Christmas holiday with my mistress?

I am terribly sorry, man. Wives are like that, but gosh! yours is unbelievably selfish. What was so difficult about letting the other woman spend Christmas with you given that you will be together on New Year? Your wife should understand that you need peace of mind to be a good husband and father in 2018; that you need a break from your manly duties the way companies give workers a holiday during Christmas. If she was a responsible wife, she should have found something useful to do instead of bombarding you with calls and being a nuisance. The fact that she is unable to find a young, strong virile man to sort her out when you are away with your mistress is none of your business. It actually explains how useless she is!
