What type of car do you drive?

A Land Rover Discovery 4.

What additions have you made to your car to give it a personal touch?

I have not touched a thing. I like it the way it is. I think it is perfect.

What do you love most about your car?

I love how big it is and its smoothness on the road.

What is your experience like driving in Nairobi?

Nairobi drivers drive me insane.  My issue lies in the fact that no one gives way. No one bothers to be courteous and let us not even start on the matatus. Then, traffic lights are either never adhered to, or do not work.

Which animal are you on the road, a cheetah or a tortoise?

Definitely a cheetah. I need to be based on my schedule.

What is your dream car?

A Maserati. It is not only a luxurious sports car, but it also comes customised and has a keen eye on details.

If you were stranded on a highway with a flat tyre, what would you do to get help?

I would fix it myself.

If you had the privilege of a siren on your car, what outrageous thing would you do?

I am not sure I would use it. However, on one of my crazy days or when I am on Mombasa Road at 5pm, I would turn it up to move people out of the way.

What do you do to kill time while in traffic?

I listen to audio books, or make phone calls to work. By the way, I have a car phone so I do not break any traffic laws.

What song do you get carried away listening to in your car?

I usually listen to most of Kem Kemistry’s songs. They are calming.

What habit would you not tolerate from people you carry in your car?

I really hate it when people litter the car.

What advice would you give a lady who wants to buy a car?

Buy one that you especially enjoy on the inside and is comfortable, and not because you like its its shape.

On average, how much do you spend on fuel?

I drive around a lot, so roughly Sh9,000.

What is the worst driving experience you have had?

That has to be my one and only accident that I had in the States when I was in university. I crashed into the back of someone’s car when there was fog. He had taken his foot off the break, so I could not see the cars break lights.

What’s your take on the proposal that all personal cars should have no tints?

It was unnecessary as it was punishing everyone else, except the bad guys.
