Here is how to spice up your everyday make up

Fashion and Beauty

Every girl has a go-to make-up routine that she uses each day. It’s easy to get stuck in the same routine, especially when you know it works for you. But why not spice up your week and try a new makeup look once in a while? Keep your coworkers on their toes and change up your look just for the fun of it.

1. Shimmery eye shadow

If you are a bit wary of trying out this shimmer look, start with a silver or gold shade and dab it with your finger right on the centre of the eye lid and in the inner corners of your eye to make your eyes pop.

2. The classic cat eye

Ok, the cat eye look has been around for a while, but it really does make a big difference. If you’re an eye pencil kind of girl, swap it out for a liquid liner and trace your upper lash line, winging it out on the edges. If you always wear black eyeliner, try an extra swipe of colour. Add a streak of coloured liner for eyes that really pop. Blue, green and purple liners look great on African skin tones

3. Falsies

You’d be amazed at how falsies can perfectly frame your face and add drama to your eyes with minimal eye makeup. If you’re new to falsies, I would recommend wearing the strip lashes that you can take off after a couple of hours as opposed to the semi-permanent ones that last between 2-3 weeks.

4. Get the golden glow

When applying bronzer, sweep it lightly not only on your cheeks, but put a little on your nose, temples, forehead and chin, too. These are the spots on your face that light will natural hit, so if you’ve got bronzer on these spots, you’ll have an extra glow.
