Craziest fashion trends that need to end now

Fashion and Beauty

Fashion trends have always been a great source of style inspiration. There have been trends that came and disappeared within a very short time, others that we embraced for decades and some that made a comeback.

Most of the time you will find that we look to celebrities to grace us with new fashion trends and some of those trends are able to gracefully transition to something we can wear on an ordinary day.

However, we also have others that don’t quite make the cut but are still being embraced, which is funny and sad at the same time.

Of late we’ve seen a couple of fashion fails that need to be booted out ASAP like the ones on this list:

Runway wannabe trends

Everyone is allowed to experiment with different style options. You can make some of the most unexpected pieces come together remarkably.

However, there are still those style rules that connect different items together and if you don’t know about them, you can end up looking insane, and not in a good way.

There are rules to layering, pattern mixing and other style concepts. You can easily make unique looks work in the real world without trying too hard to reinvent the wheel.

Bad DIYs

Some items have been intentionally designed to look like a DIY project, like ripped jeans. It’s easer to transform some old items into new ones with a few tweaks here and there but, many don’t look too great when they’re an obvious DIY project.

Bad DIYs can give off a cheap vibe so I can’t wait for this trend to go out of style. Most of them don’t look polished and they usually don’t fit right after those alterations.

Anything micro

Micro pieces have been a hot trend especially on Instagram. You can barely scroll for five minutes without seeing micro dresses, skirts, sweaters, tops and everything else that can be transformed into a micro version.

They might look cute and all but these pieces belong in the house and not in public for everyone to see where the sun don’t shine.

Clownish color combos

2022 is going to be a big year for bold colors. You might see lots of orange, bold blues and different color blends that bring more vibrancy into the world of fashion.

While this is great, some of us can attest to have already spotted some terrible color combos. Everything doesn’t need to be so bright from head to toe and there is a way you can learn to match colors that look good together.

Designer imitations

Some designer imitations can actually look just like the real thing. But there are still many others that are obviously not a match and the interesting thing is that that are still popular right now.

You have probably spotted ‘Guccic,’ ‘Fendii’ and ‘Galvin Kelin’ items that everyone can just tell are fake.

Everyone can wear what they want but these are the kinds of items that can embarrass someone and should be booted out like yesterday.

If you can’t afford the real thing, embrace that fact and stick to second hand original designer wear or skip it altogether.
