Meghan Markle has gushed about Prince Harry being a feminist and a 'beautiful' role model for their son Archie in a new interview about the importance of voting.
The Duchess of Sussex spoke excitedly about her husband's influence to US rights activist Gloria Steinem as they discussed female representation in politics.
In a black and white clip released on Tuesday Gloria tells the 39-year-old that not only women can be feminists but so can men.
Megan replies effusively saying: "Like my husband! I love that when he just came in he said, ‘You know that I’m a feminist too, right Gloria?! It’s really important to me that you know that.
She continued: "I look at our son and what a beautiful example that he gets to grow up with a father who is so comfortable owning that as part of his own self-identification.
"That there’s no shame in being someone who advocates for fundamental human rights for everyone, which of course includes women."
She added thanks to Harry their son Archie will grow up "knowing it's OK to be loving and nurturing."
The location of the interview has not been revealed but there's speculation it may have taken place at the back of Meghan's new multi million pound home - and at one point her beloved dogs wander into shot.
The clip is part of a session recorded by feminist media platform Makers, and is the latest in a series of videos the Duchess has released to encourage people to go to the polls ahead of the US presidential election in November.
That's despite criticism she snubbed royal protocol on political impartiality when appearing at Democrat Michelle Obama's When All Women Vote online event.
During the interview Meghan showed admiration for Steinem's work in fighting for gender equality.
She said: "People forget how hard women like you (Steinem) and so many others have fought for us just to be where we are right now.
Last week Meghan implied that in recent months, she had not been able to say and hinted that she had been censored by Palace aides while she was acting a senior member of the Royal family.
She said she wants to use her voice 'in a way she hasn't been able to of late'.
