An escort from Liverpool has spilled the secrets of her trade from married men to avoiding clients in Tesco.

Jenni Jones has been working as an escort for just over year and has shared the most intimate details of her profession - including her own list of dos and don'ts.

The 42-year-old said she prefers to call her clients "companions" and refers to her bookings as "dates" she told Liverpool Echo.

Jenni won't book anyone under the age of 35 and she won't overbook herself. "Three of four in a day is enough for my health and for my mental health," she added.

Before she became an escort Jenni worked as a cam girl and glamour model.

She said: "I know I'm discreet, I'm not there to take husbands away from their wives. Maybe [men tell me about their lives] because they don't see it as cheating."

Jenni said she also doesn't regard her clients' behaviour as cheating, saying: "If they weren't paying, if they met someone in town and if they were going out on dates [then it would be].

"If I wasn't in this industry I would think it was cheating but now I don't, because I'm not attracted to the guy or pursuing him."

However married men do make up a much higher proportion of her clients.

"For me, I've met a lot more married men. To be fair, I found myself speaking to a potential date [who was] in town on business and we were discussing something and he said he has a 'naughty side' while he's away from home.

"I thought 'why don't you do that with your partner?' You could share that but he said he had a higher sex drive.

"The guys I'm meeting are in their 50s and their wives are probably going through the menopause."

Many of her clients are men visiting the city for business, often flying to Manchester Airport and then looking for some company.

But she does also have local clients which means she has to keep an eye out in the supermarket. Jenni said: "Bumping into one of them is my main worry. I've said [in the past] I'm worried. I never have [bumped into one of them].

"One guy said 'if you every saw me in Tesco what would you do?' I wouldn't acknowledge that I knew them, I would just go about my business. They wouldn't recognise me - I'm in my tracksuit!"

With her own website and profiles on a number of different pages, most clients make first contact with Jenni by text or email.

She also uses an app called Smoochi to help her feel safe - the app has a number of different safety elements with escorts able to mark up their clients as genuine, safe or problematic.

Jenni has a driver who takes her out to an outcall and waits for her and she does a lot of admin to vet men in advance.

Explaining how her 'dates' work, she said: "When they contact me I won't take a booking over email or text. They will contact me there first and then I say you need to speak to me, give me a call.

"They contact me and I ask things like how long are they looking to meet for, do they have requirements. Then I will discuss things I will or won't do so there's no misconceptions.

"I get questions like 'are you discreet?' People ask if they are going to be filmed because they might have had a bad experience before."

Jenni also says she is concerned for the safety of men who pay for sex and making sure sex workers are kept safe.

She said: "A lot of men don't know what they're getting into. They might not know if the girls are being pimped or trafficked."
