Kenya has administered 41,929 vaccines in the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of people inoculated to 17.1 million.
At least 28.7 per cent of the adult population is fully vaccinated.
On Saturday, the Health Ministry announced that eleven people tested positive for the coronavirus disease from 5,218 samples conducted in the last 24 hours.
Kenya’s Covid-19 positivity rate is now 0.2 per cent, with 323,171 total confirmed cases and 3,434, 544 tests conducted so far.
An additional one hundred and ninety-eight patients have also recovered from the disease.
“194 were discharged from the Home Based Isolation and Care program while four were from various health facilities countrywide,” Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said.
Total recoveries are now 317,665.
The covid-19 death toll in the country remains 5,644.
