Comedian turned politician John ‘KJ’ Kiarie, has revealed that his mother committed suicide.
“My mother died under mysterious circumstances. She committed suicide just months after she gave birth to me. Unfortunately, this caused my bad health and my family thought I was going to die,” KJ revealed on a local show .
KJ rose to fame after he and his campus buddies Nyambane and Tony decided to start a comedy show known as Redyuklass.
KJ is vying for the Dagorreti South parliamentary seat. He also contested in 2013 and lost.
