Gentlemen, here are some skin care tips for you

Skin Care - By Judith Muthoni | January 12th 2018 at 08:00:00 GMT +0300

I enjoy working in the field because I get to interact with a lot of people. My focus lately has been on men and how they take care of their skin. I managed to ask some a few questions in regards to how they take care of their skin and from the results I could tell that men are now showing interest in skincare.

We are in the 21st century where men are showing interest in taking care of their skin. I tell you for sure when approaching a man in regards to skincare you need a certain angle otherwise they will shut you up really fast even before you settle on your position by saying “it’s womanish”
But gone are those days. At least nowadays they are showing little love and effort to their skin.

A man’s skincare routine should be easy and fast, there is no need for several steps or multiple layers of creams. Instead look for high quality natural products and your face will thank you later. One more thing I can guarantee you is the (Woman in your life will probably steal your products too.

When it comes to following routine there’s no short cut. It has to be every morning and evening, hence you have to take a shower twice a day? So, it’s easy to follow the routine and you will be slaying with a handsome better looking complexion.

Here is a basic skin care routine for men:

Detox- I prefer detoxing first thing in the morning even before having your breakfast because detox acts as a body cleanser. It will help cleanse and flush all the unwanted toxins and impurities from your body.

Cleanse-When taking a shower, use a cleanser or a natural soap on your face, not a shower gel or just any other soap. Soap will dry out your natural oils. Stripping all your natural oils away can damage your skin and even cause signs of premature aging.

Exfoliate-This I can tell you for sure almost every man knows about exfoliating. Exfoliate once or twice a week depending on your skin type. It helps to remove the dead skin cells.

Mask-When exfoliating remember you were rubbing your skin so you need to tighten it back. Otherwise your skin will sag faster and you don’t want that. So make sure you use a mask .It helps to soothe and tighten the skin back to its normal PH.

Serum-This anti-aging baby will give life to your skin. In the morning just mix it with your face moisturizer to make your work easier. I do the same when am in a hurry. In the evening take your 5/10 seconds and massage it on to penetrate well. Our skin is very active during sleep. It repairs itself and produces new cells at a faster rate than when we are awake. Help it by having it clean by the use of correct products.

Moisturizer-I bet the last thing you want is to look like Shrek. Moisturize every morning and evening it helps to soften and hydrate the skin. If you have an Oily skin type, Look for an oil free moisturizer.
