Kenyan singer Akothee’s daughter Celly Rue Brown has never shied away from treating her fans to pictures of herself. Rue, who beat 13 finalists to be crowned as the new face of Nivea East Africa in late 2017 awed her followers after posting her latest bikini collection on her social media accounts.
The 20-year-old who stepped out her mother’s fame to pursue modelling is a celebrity especially among the young who follow her religiously. Rue who inherited a good portion of her mother’s look has been climbing up the celebrity ladder slow but steadily especially after the Nivea win.
In her young modelling career, Rue’s height, slim body poise and confidence has earned her the chance to walk the runway for well-established designers such as Aulgah Ojijo.
Her mom, Akothee, is one of Kenya’s richest female musician and has supported her all through her path. She even treated Rue to brand new Mazda on her 19th birthday much to the awe of their followers.
