The main objective of the network is to improve gender balance in the organization by influencing recruitment, following up on staff career growth as well as conducting mentorship forums for the women staffers. The network seeks to push for amenities including a mother’s room, a daycare centre, a gym and wellness centre at the organization.

The leadership of the forum, which boasts of representatives from all the SG departments, will also look into the intermittent problems women have to deal with world over by championing for better maternity cover packages and curbing sexual harassment.

The event was crowned by a cake cutting and champagne popping session

And it’s a wrap. Thank you for joining us in this remarkable event. Here’s to new beginnings #HerStandards #SGWomenNetwork pic.twitter.com/j5zjpP1irZ
