Security guard turns village girl into sex slave

Living

A job scam at a top university in Nairobi left a village girl with no choice but to submit to a man who subjected her to forced sex for a whole month after he lured her into getting a job only for her to realise that the so-called job was to entertain the man in the bedroom. AOW who works as a security guard at the university is said to have raped the woman whom he had invited from the village on diverse dates between October 5 and November 2 at his house at Kasarani trading centre. He was alternatively charged with touching her indecently.

Further reports indicate that the accused and the woman met sometime back at their rural home in Migori. They kept in touch until when the accused lured her into a scam job opportunity at the university. He informed her that there will be an interview on October 5 and that she ought to travel to Nairobi City to prepare for the same. Since she didn't want to lose the chance, the complainant travelled to Nairobi and was received by the accused at the bus station before proceeding to his house in Kasarani.

That night, he promised to escort her to the interview the following day. The elated woman did not suspect his ill motives. The night passed without incident and the accused left her in the house that morning with a promise that he would fetch her later after confirming the time for interviews. That night, the accused is said to have demanded sex, a thing which shocked her. She did not give in and the accused forced his way and raped her. He is said to her locked the woman in his house for a whole month.

It is claimed he provided her with a basin to use as a toilet and for bathing. He never allowed her to go outside or talk with anybody. All this time, the accused continued raping her whenever he felt like it. It was not until when she got a chance to escape to the police station with the help of good Samaritans. The accused denied the charges and was granted a bond of Sh 300,000 pending hearing on April 2023.
