South African YouTuber, makeup artist and social media influencer, Mihlali Ndamase, is this week’s Woman Crush Wednesday. The super gorgeous 23-year-old South African star hit one million Instagram followers this month, just over five years after opening her Instagram page and beginning her journey to social media stardom.
The one million mark is a coveted milestone on Instagram and we are proud that another young African woman has achieved it, which further puts Africa on the map. Africa is typically deemed as “the dark continent” with nothing to show, but social media influencers like Mihlali break that negative stereotype about this diverse continent.
Mihlali has been featured on a number of prominent magazine covers, including Cosmopolitan. She also won a Glamour ‘Most Glamorous’ award in 2019.
We hope that other young African girls are inspired to rise, follow their passion, work on their craft and make ground-breaking moves to success.
