However, that could be about to change. One porn site has just made "sexy football" seem very literal indeed by releasing a list of its most searched for footballers - be warned, seeing this could put you off the phrase for good.
Not only has adult website Pornhub imparted the slightly disturbing knowledge that loads of people are searching for footballers' names while looking for pornographic content, it's ranked the top 15 players in order of popularity. It should be said that absolutely none of these players have had any say in this - this is purely down to people deciding (for some bizarre reason) to type their names into Pornhub's search bar.
While some of these searches might seem relatively mundane, others will seriously shock you.
We were a tad surprised by the guys who come in 14th and 7th. Here's the list, for those of you who are curious.
