A renowned sports personality was recently caught in the thick of things at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The experienced sportsman was flying to Europe but had excess luggage exceeding the allowed weight by over 10 kilos. According to one of the airline’s staff, the ever joyful gentleman this time looked distressed and in a hurry but with literally no money to pay for the items.
Our source said, “We were shocked to see him with excess luggage without extra cash. That was strange for a frequent traveller like him. The maximum weight allowed is 32 kilos and charges are strictly applicable for any extra weight.” Being a loyal customer of the Middle East Airline, the staff let him off the hook after constituting their superior.
