Maria Mavuno, for that is her character name in Mashtaka sustained serious injuries following the freak accident.
She was hospitalised in Athi River before getting airlifted to Nairobi Women’s Hospital. Veronicah is one of the new breed of prolific actresses and her Maria Mavuno role in Mashtaka has made her a household name among the youth.
