This is what DJ Styles told Uhuru Kenyatta at State House

Living

On Monday at 8am, led by Deejay Styles, a team of bikers rode into State House and handed a helmet to the president, to his fascination.

“This is for you Mr. President. We want to thank you and your government for giving the youth a chance to help in nation building,” Style, in a paraphrased report, is said to have told the president.

The little present inscribed with the Superbike Trophy logo was not only made to be a Kenya @ 50 commemoration gift. The bikers were also getting the president to flag off their 50 days road race — from Nairobi to Cape Town.

“We are leaving on Thursday (yesterday) and will collect signatures in every country we go through as part of the Kenya @ 50 celebrations. When we get back, we will hand over the signatures and the flag back to the president,” Styles remarked.

Asked what other significance the helmet handed to the president had, Style told Pulse that it was also in support of the road safety campaign.
