The 34-year-old television star is set to welcome a baby boy with her husband John Legend.
Speaking about her pregnancy woes on her social media story, Chrissy accidentally let slip the baby's gender before realising what she had done.
In the clip, the model lay snuggled up in some blankets as she rested in bed.
The mum of two admitted that she had struggled with her placenta and both of her other children had to be induced.
She then went on to say there was nothing to worry about and "he's big."
The moment the words left her mouth, Chrissy realised what she had done and said: "Oops! I'm stupid ... anyway.
She then reassured fans: 'Its growing beautifully, everything's good. I'm feeling really good, but my placenta's really, really weak and it's causing me to really bleed a lot.
"Basically it's just pretty high-risk and, you know, it's just this poor thing has been through so much already."
Chrissy has been reduced to bed rest as she tries to get her placenta back to health during her pregnancy.
The couple, who have been married for seven years, are expecting their third child together.
