A woman is devastated after her husband of six year admitted there was one part of her body he really doesn't like.
He is now asking her to have surgery to change it, leaving her feeling insecure and upset.
She's tried to tell him she's happy the way she is and doesn't want to alter her body, but he keeps bringing it up.
The anonymous woman writes: "We've been married for 6 years. I have a smallish bust which I am ok with but my husband is often suggesting I have a boob enlargement.
"I don't want to go through all that pain, I have always been this size and was like this when we met and it never seemed to bother him then.
"Am I right to be upset? I have tried saying I am happy the way I am and that he was happy enough when we met. Why is it now an issue? I don't want to feel insecure but I am starting too."
Posting on Reddit, she also says he wants to get a hair transplant as he is going bald and says he will get one "in exchange" for her surgery.
She continues: "He also often talks about his hair as he's becoming bald, it's absolutely not a problem for me and I made some small jokes about it in the past but he's convinced it is a problem.
"He wants to get a hair transplant and he usually brings that up when he talks about my boob job, almost like he would undergo that procedure "in exchange" for my boob job.
"He'd probably look better with more hair but I still love the way he looks now and I don't need him to change.
"We're having less sex lately (about one time every two weeks) and I'm always initiating, I'm starting to feel rejected and insecure. What should I do?"
Unsurprisingly people were outraged by the man's comments and were quick to comment on her post.
One wrote: "You have every right to be upset. I would be. Getting breast implants is major surgery, it's not a walk in the park. Have you asked him "why now?"
Another added: "Basically dudes having a mid-life crisis and probably thinks his wife isn't hot enough. Pretty mean of this guy to take his insecurities out on his wife though. If I were her I'd say, mention it again, and I'm filing for divorce. This is some serious red flag."
One woman commented: "A boob job is such a personal thing, too. It has to be something you need. If you are comfortable in your body, then don't change anything about it. A boob job is not like a haircut, and it is not like painting your nails. And to that extent, it isn't even the same as getting a tattoo. His lack of satisfaction with his own hair is his own issue to deal with. What he is doing is sharing his insecurities. He is insecure about his own appearance, so you must be insecure about yours. It doesn't matter that you aren't really insecure about yourself, he is trying to manipulate you into thinking so."
