Dad fumes wife should pay for baby's formula after stopping breastfeeding

Parenting
He objects to his wife's plans to stop breastfeeding

It's hardly news, but having a child is just about one of the most expensive things you can do.

No wonder families everywhere try to tighten their belts wherever possible.

However, there is a fine line between being financially savvy, and being, well, ridiculous.

Unfortunately for one man, he seems to have crossed it rather spectacularly.

The disgruntled dad came under fire after explaining his wife wanted to phase out breastfeeding and switch to formula.

In a post shared on Twitter, he wrote:

"She has been breastfeeding for 6 months since the baby was born and now wants to switch to formula. She makes plenty of milk and everything she just says she 'feels done'."

"I think if she wants to stop for basically no reason then the money for formula should come out of the personal spending money because she is the one making the decision.

"She says I'm an a*****e and it should come from the family/grocery budget (which is already tight) even though I don't have a say."

The cost of feeding your child falls on both parents

His grievances fell on deaf ears - there was zero sympathy for him on social media.
