There are several ways in which men can prolong their lives according to various research studies. These studies revealed easy lifestyle choices that can add years to one lifespan. Here are five of these ways:

Having children

A study in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health found out that when parents are 60 years especially the men with kids their life expectancy goes up to two years. For the women, it increased by 1.5 years. By the age of 80, men with kids were expected to live eight months longer than those without children.

Having sex

According to a BMJ study, sex is said to decrease a man’s mortality rate by 50 percent. Sex is a stress reliever that releases serotonin, the happy hormone, which gives this feel good feeling. In the study, the life expectancy increases by three to eight years in the group who reported to have thrilling orgasms.

Being responsible

A study in the journal of Personality and Social Psychology discovered older men in nursing homes who were given the responsibility to care for others improved in socializing, being alert and general function.

Staring at the ladies’ breasts

Men are visual creatures and breasts are part of a sexual anatomy that is a great deal when it comes sexual sensations. This must be one of the mind-blowing turn on for men and apparently makes them feel good.

Been married

An American survey has shown that married men do live longer though it depends with the age they are getting married at. The survey found out that more than 127,000 American men get married after they are 25 years old. They are likely to live longer than those who marry at a younger age.
