Kiambu Woman Representative, Gathoni wa Muchomba, is not new to controversy. Immediately after her win in August 2017, the first-time legislator made headlines after she claimed that she wanted to be paid well something that did not sit well with Kenyans especially Kimabu county residents .
The former radio presenter has once again made it to the headlines for advocating for polygamy. She uttered these over the weekend in a social gathering in Kiambu as she was addressing the issue of absent fathers in the lives of many children. In a video that has since gone viral, the Woman Rep , wa Muchomba cites that even our forefathers had many wives , who sired many children who excelled and became successful.
She goes ahead and says that those who marry multiple wives will not be killed nor will they be jailed.
