Nairobi Hospital will host the Africa Medical Expo and Conference scheduled to run from July 31 to August 2.

The conference is set to provide an engagement and procurement platform for health and medical industry professionals in the continent.

The meet is organised by Aremant Group Ltd and is themed “Our Health, Our Wealth: Towards Innovative and Effective Public-Private Partnerships.”

Other sponsors are Harleys Ltd, Vision 2030, Kenya Progressive Nurses Association, Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board, the US-Africa Opportunity Network, Angle Fair Africa and Chanzo Capital.

Participants will have an opportunity to discuss challenges facing the sector and make strategic recommendations on how to move it forward.

“Participants at the conference will have an opportunity to share their experiences, network and also learn about new technologies and practices from different experts and other stakeholders in the various health sectors from all over the world,” Aremant Group CEO Isaac Mokaya said.

More than 500 professionals from across Africa and around the world are expected to attend, interact with each other and discuss challenges and opportunities.

At the end of the conference, organisers will announce concrete partnerships and deals that will have been struck during the event. The expo will also seek to showcase best practices in health and drive the next wave of healthcare modernisation.
