Stressed by cellulite? Coffee is what you need!

Skin Care

Did you know you can use coarse coffee grounds to get rid of cellulite? It’s easy!

You make a scrub using the following: Coarse coffee pellets, salt or sugar and coconut.

Cellulites manifest when the layer of fat beneath the skin pushes against connective tissue and bulges, giving it a dimpled, lumpy appearance.

See, coffee contains caffeine, the number one cellulite enemy. The caffeine tightens and provides antioxidants to the skin when applied.

Research show drivers are most obnoxious on Mondays. Do you agree??

When used as a scrub, the caffeine also gets rid of the dead skin trying to cling to dear life. It is the best short-term remedy for cellulite as well as maintaining a healthy skin. It is also cheap to make.

How to do it:

Mix the dry ingredients first, that’s coffee and salt (or sugar) in an empty jar. Then add liquid coconut oil into the mixture and mix well to make a paste-like substance.

This can be used before taking a shower so you can ensure you get rid of all the dead skin lingering on. Apply the mixture on the area that has been ‘terrorised’ by the cellulites in a circular motion.

Applying in circular motion ensures you leave your skin even and toned. Be careful not to strain your skin while at it.

Avoid using on broken skin because if you are using salt, that stuff stings as hell!

Rinse it off and moisturise your skin to keep it hydrated all day long. Repeat this method often for best results.
