A 58-year-old man is in police custody after he allegedly stabbed his lover to death at Kasarani in Nairobi County on Monday night, November 21.
Kasarani Sub-County Police Commander Anthony Mbogo said the suspect stabbed the middle-aged woman twice in the neck, killing her on the spot.
"The suspect is called Joseph Njenga, and he in custody after he turned himself in," said Mbogo.
"We have recovered two knives that we believe were used in the fatal attack," said the Kasarani police boss.
The woman's body was taken to City Mortuary as investigations continue.
Police say the suspect works as a tout at Kasarani.
