A woman's hilarious homemade Valentine's gift has gone viral after she decided to send her husband a warning message to mark the occasion.

February 14 is usually a day to show your significant other how much you appreciate them, but TikTok user Gloria instead decided to remind her partner that she's not blind to his activity on social media.

In a video captioned 'What did you get your man for Valentine’s Day?', Gloria creates a styrofoam box and inserts wooden sticks, each bearing a photo of a different woman's picture he has liked on Instagram.

She says: "Since everyone is sharing what they got their significant other for Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share mine.

"So, I got my husband this cute little box, I filled it with pictures of all the girls' photos that he's been liking on Instagram. Hope he likes it!"

The clip has racked up more than 4.3 million views and 17,000 comments - and people were divided over whether the move was genius or "petty".

One person replied to say: "I mean he did like the pictures... I'm pretty sure he'll love the gift."

A second said: "It's barely February 2021 girl can we hand you the best wife trophy this year."

A third said: "Thanks for the idea girl. He'll be so pleased."

And another added: "Imma need a bigger box."

But not everyone was a fan of the idea, as one replied: "Tell me you're petty, without telling me you're petty."

And another wrote: "Suddenly I am glad I'm single."

But everyone was in agreement that they would love to see his reaction when he opens his present, as someone commented: "Best gift ever. Please post his reaction."

And a second pleaded: "Someone tag me when she posts part two."
