Chrissy Teigen is reportedly hoping to follow in Meghan Markle's footsteps and sit down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey to share her truth.
The 35-year-old television star, who was recently caught up in an alleged bullying scandal, is reportedly in discussion with the talk show host about arranging a televised chat.
It comes shortly after Chrissy broke her silence to apologise profusely to Courtney Strodden and others who have been affected by her trolling in the past.
According to an insider close to Chrissy who spoke on Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice podcast, the mum of two is planning to go public with her truth about the allegations.
"Chrissy is in talks with Oprah to do a Meghan Markle sit-down type interview and tell her truth," insiders told Schuter.
They added: "Chrissy is a fighter and believes that she is such an excellent communicator that there isn’t a mess she can’t talk her way out of!"
"Every news outlet in the world has contacted Chrissy about getting her first on-camera interview, but Oprah is her first choice. If Oprah can forgive Chrissy, then so can the nation."
A representative for Chrissy has been approached by The Mirror for comment.
Talks about a televised interview came days after Chrissy took to Medium to pen yet another grovelling apology where she admitted to past trolling, as well as maintaining that she was no longer that person.
The cookbook author also admitted in the post that she has been "sobbing" through private apologies to others she has hurt over the years.
Despite her humble remarks, Project Runway star Michael Costello then took to social media to allege that Chrissy Teigen bullied him so severely in 2014 that it led to him wanting to end his life.
Michael joined a growing list of public figures that appear to have been targeted by Chrissy in the past.
It all erupted when Chrissy was blasted last month after it was revealed that she had told the American reality star Courtney Stodden to kill themselves on Twitter in 2011.
Chrissy had sent Courtney, who now identifies as non-binary, a string of abusive messages when they were just 16 years old.
They included telling them to die, to take their own life and to "go to sleep forever".
In response to Chrissy's apology, Courtney told TMZ: "I accept her apology and forgive her. But, the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private. In fact, she blocked me on Twitter."
Reports have surfaced that Freaky Friday actress Lindsay Lohan and singer Demi Lovato were also subject to online abuse from the author.
Despite Chrissy's recent apologies, the star has already lost several high-profile contracts with brands such as Target. It remains to be seen whether an interview with Oprah will be able to salvage her reputation.
