Chrissy Teigen reveals how she found out about third pregnancy

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their third child. While she has expressed her joy at being pregnant again, Teigen had a few things which she took to Twitter to address.

A fan asked Teigen about her breast implant removal surgery, which Teigen shared on her social media, citing that it was dangerous for a woman to have the surgery while she’s pregnant.

“I did the routine pregnancy test you do before surgery. It said negative. It was not negative,” Teigen explained.

It was after taking another test that she confirmed that she was indeed pregnant.

Teigen has  in the past spoken about her struggle to get pregnant. She had in vitro fertilisation for her earlier pregnancies and didn’t expect to get pregnant naturally.

“For many years now, I've taken pregnancy tests almost every month, praying to see a positive one day,” Teigen said. “I never had a positive before."

Although she’s been getting along well, Teigen still admitted to being frightened.

“We prayed to the boob surgery gods that everything would be okay. Went to every appointment terrified. Even without the surgery, I didn't think I could get pregnant naturally anyway. So the odds just felt...bad.

“I’m still very worried. Part of me misses the safety of my perfect embryos, created in their little dish. They felt untouchable and safe. Now I feel a bit...eggshelly.

On IVF Teigen had this to say:

“I hope this gives anyone out there some hope. IVF was an amazing choice for us to be able to make. So hard, but we got two beautiful monsters out of it. I promise you, I never ever ever ever ever thought I could.

“When you give up on trying, life has a way of surprising you.”

Teigen and Legend are parents to four-year-old Luna and two-year-old Miles.
